Gum For My Boat won the best short film at the California Surf Fest this past weekend!!! We showed to a full house and even had Fuel TV there to cover the event (video to come soon!)

Gum for my boat will be premiering at the California Surf Festival (www.californiasurffestival.com) this Friday 11/20/09 at 8pm at the Brookes Theater in Oceanside, California for $10.00 at the door.
Also, here is a chance to win 2 tickets for the show through Swell.com.

The film shows at 9 PM on Friday night at the Boulder Theatre and opens for the film “Tibet: Murder In The Snow”.

The New York Surf Festival went great! People loved the film and were so excited about Surfing the Nations and the Bangladesh Surf Club. I really wished you could have been there to experience the film. We had a great turnout and because of the showing, we have been invited to a few other film fests as well. Here are a few pics from the night of the premiere.
Speaking of that… we got into the California Surf Film Fest! It is November 19th to the 22nd so you guys should come!!! Its is gonna be a huge thing and Surfer Magazine and Fuel TV are gonna cover it. Here is the link to find out more… http://www.californiasurffestival.com/
Kahana is in Australia right now, but when he gets back he is going to start making the DVDs of the film. We should have copies made within a month and will send you guys tons when it happens.
Also, on that note… watch out for the new Surfer magazine to come out next month… They are gonna have a whole review of the Gum For My Boat DVD in the Magazine and link on how to by it!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have been submitted into the 2009 New York Surf Festival! The festival is happening September 25th - 27th at the Tribeca theaters in Manhattan. More info to come soon like ticket information and the night we show!!!
Also, the world premiere and film tour is in the works. As well as the DVD release and other promo materials. More info to come.
